A William IV rosewood and mother of pearl inlaid four tier what not reading stand, the adjustable upper tier enclosed by carved leafy finials, inlaid with an armourial crest bearing a deer, within foliate mother of pearl banding in the Anglo Indian taste, supported by slender tapering acanthus carved uprights, the third tier with a frieze drawer inlaid with conforming banding, all upon turned peg feet brass caps and castors.
Condition report: Minor stains and losses to the mother of pearl on the upper tier along with an age split. Lacking book rest gallery at the front of the upper tier, please see additional image. One drawer handle knob is chipped, otherwise very light general rubbing wear only.
